Start on the living-room TV

This page is the Poland entry point. This site does not yet have a dedicated Poland country guide. Use the EPG setup guide when the grid is blank, and the Europe VPN guide when you are travelling. The Germany hub is the nearest living-room neighbour if the house also watches ARD or ZDF. Use this hub to pick an app we actually document, check Orange, Play, or UPC at home, and decide whether a blank TVP1 row is a bind or a missing file.

Most Polish living rooms need one player the whole house can use. That is IBO Player. It is the same default as the Germany hub for a mixed apartment: Android TV or a Fire Stick on the main set, a Samsung or LG in the bedroom, and a phone in the kitchen. Polish titles have to stay readable in the TVP list. IBO Player does that without a second login style.

Duplex TV is the better living-room pick when the TV is an older Samsung or LG, or when someone in the house lives in the programme guide. Catch-up is a first-class habit when a provider actually exposes TVP or Polsat start-over. Duplex TV is the app on this site that keeps that guide on the big screen.

Bob Pro TV stays Android-first. Use it when the Poland-plus-Europe list is huge and you will actually hide groups. It is a weak only-app if the lounge TV is a Samsung or LG. Install IBO Player there, then add Bob Pro TV only if you already know you will open Settings.

What Orange, Play, and UPC change at home

Fibre from Orange, Play, and Plus is why HD IPTV is ordinary in Warsaw, Krakow, Gdansk, and Wroclaw. The player does not fix a congested stairwell switch or a blocked port. Ethernet to the box still beats a larger buffer.

Orange. Leave the buffer where the player put it on Orange fibre. Channel changes should feel instant. Startup delays are usually DNS. Orange's own TV product can hold onto resolver answers that a third-party playlist does not need. Set Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 or Google 8.8.8.8, then retry. Orange copper is a different story. 1080p is fine. 4K is not a promise.

Play. Play fibre follows the Orange fibre advice when the socket is wired. Evening congestion on a sports row is a line and a host problem. Wire the box before you raise the buffer again. If TVP1 plays and the match dies, the app is not the story.

UPC and Plus. UPC cable in a busy building is the evening load case. Wire the box. Raise the buffer. Wi-Fi on a shared 5 GHz network in the same flat makes that worse. Plus fibre follows the other city fibre advice. A holiday rental on a mobile router is a last-resort line. Do not use it as the main TV connection.

Prove the playlist, then fix the guide

Do not start with a 10,000-row Europe dump. Pin TVP1, TVP2, Polsat, and TVN. If those four play, the subscription is usable. TVP Info, regional windows, and the sports rows can wait. This hub will not invent a TVP XMLTV ID table. Those tokens are not published on this site.

If TVP1 shows last night's film after a "successful" refresh, the file loaded and the row is bound to the wrong id. That is a matching problem. The XMLTV ID hub walks through how IBO Player, MAT Player, and Duplex TV attach an id to a row. The public stacks there are SRF, ERT, VRT, and SVT. The bind is the same work on TVP1. Search the XML for the id, not the pretty name. Auto-match still grabs "TVP1 HD" and leaves the row you watch empty. If the whole grid is blank, you do not have an ID problem yet. Fix the URL and the refresh first. The EPG setup guide covers that step.

Set the player to UTF-8 before you decide Polish titles are broken. Boxes on Wiadomości, or missing ą, ę, and ł, are encoding, not a bad playlist. Duplicate HD copies are organisation. Hide the groups you never use before you add a second XMLTV file.
